Guided diveTwo great guided dives today for Dan who is on holiday in Cornwall, conditions were wonderful with 6-8m of visibility and 13 degrees in shallow water 4-6m.Shame non of us took a camera in, as loads of wildlife inc, octopus, lobster, loads of spider crabs, dog fish, wrasse etc etc even sea slugs.Portmellon never disappoints. Kids club This evening in kids club we did surface supplied like the commercial sat divers, with umbilical supplied air from surface mounted Scuba cylinder along with Dunlop weighted welly safety boots, harness, back mount bailouts, two saftey lines, and a task on the tables of putting bolts in nuts with tools from their tool bags. We all had great fun.Well done to Sophie who was concentrating on the skills for her open water course, and need great.We also had the company again of just the mermaid who tried scuba diving rather than breath holding this week, I think we might have a scuba-diving mermaid now.A couple of photos of the kids under the water in their equipment doing the nut and bolt task .Kids club is a great way for the younger ones to learn scuba diving and build confidence along the way.For more information please emailInfo@viewpointdivingcornwall.co.uk next week the club will be looking at vintage Scuba kit including twin hose regulators and Scuba equipment from the 60s 70s 80s and 90s.
