PADI AWARE Fish ID Speciality Course

Description

The PADI Fish ID Speciality Course will enable the partipant to identify local fish while diving as well as understand more about fish families. We will discuss and look for evidence of fish feeding habits and altruistic behaviours and examine techniques for monitoring and studying aquatic life.

The course is offered as two dives, which will provide the participant with a PADI Speciality Accreditation or as one dive, offering a PADI Adventure Dive accreditation. The Adventure Dive can also be taken as one of the adventure dives in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver / Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course.

 

All equipment is provided.

 

Age Range

Minimum Age 10 years old, parental approval is required for those under 18 years old.

Another escorted dive today, sea conditions are ideal, great visibility 7-10m and the sea is 17 degrees at present, only issue is 100s of jelly fish from blue jellyfish, and compass jellyfish, being the main ones, two divers had the jellyfish mild lip stings, so suggest if going in gloves and hoods until they clear. ...
