Busy couple of days at the dive centre.
Yesterday a scuba review and today a nice club dive but must also say well done to Dean Harvey for completing his Dive Master today, by doing his swims today. So another dive master for the team here at Viewpoint Diving.

Not diving today but visibility here at Mevagissey and Portmellon still amazing if any of you are looking for a bloom free dive site. Meva gullies max 10m deep, Portmellon max 15m deep on the right, so no good for deep diving but for photography and sea life viewing wonderful.
Conditions look the same as Saturdays dive so should be about 10m visibility.

Important Message - Club Fees
for all club members (current, lapsed, been-meaning-to-get-round-to-it ....)
Monthly and yearly club fees will be increasing on Tuesday morning, along with the current one-off charges for non members to join club dives.
HOWEVER, as a token of our gratitude for all those of you who have stuck with us, fees for current members will not change.

This means that if you have been planning to join (or rejoin) you have until the end of tomorrow to do so at the old rates!

Great club dive today 10m visibility, yes 10m!
A shoal of pollock, Spyder crabs, wrasse, blemmeys, hermit crabs, to name a few marine species seen. Nobody wanted to get out, but as always cylinder size the limiting factor.
So over a 90 minute dive, just wish everybody had taken in twinsets today, so could have stayed down all day.
The sea grass coming back in Portmellon, which can only be a good thing.
Water temperature at lowest 10 degrees so not too bad, but cheesy chips and coffee, was well deserved.
Hopefully see you all soon.
