Description
It can be very embarassing, uncomfortable and even dangerous to surface during a dive to find out where you are. If you are likely to get lost you will need to reserve more air then normal to ensure that you can get to your exit point and therefore reduce your dive time. Long surface swims and tiring and can be unpleasant, especially if there are a lot of waves or if its windy.
How to you make sure that you don’t get lost? Become a proficient underwater navigator by taking this course, and remember to always get an orientation dive from a local PADI professional if you have not dived the site before.
The course is offered as three dives, which will provide the participant with a PADI Speciality Accreditation or as one dive, offering a PADI Adventure Dive accreditation. The Adventure Dive can also be taken as one of the adventure dives in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver / Junior Advanced Open Water DiverΒ course.
