PADI Search and Recovery Speciality Course

Description

Search and recovery may seem the sort of thing that only commercial divers would need to do, but what happens if you have to drop a weight belt? It is probably lost and usually too heavy to safely lift using your normal buoyancy when you find it. You will therefore need to know how to execute a methodical underwater search pattern and then recover it using an approriate lift bag and recovery techniques. As well as being instructive this course is great fun and allows newer divers to forget about the normal process of diving and concentrate on something different.

There is so much to do in this course that it is offered as four dives, which will provide the participant with a PADI Speciality Accreditation or as one dive, offering a PADI Adventure Dive accreditation. The Adventure Dive can also be taken as one of the adventure dives in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver / Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course.

All equipment is provided.
