PADI Enriched Air (EAN) Speciality Course

Description

When diving, we often use compressed air, with the standard oxygen content of 21%, however we can dive on enriched air with a higher oxygen content. This is know as Enriched Air Nitrox or EAN and can offer oxygen contents of 32% or 36%. The PADI Enriched Air course teaches students to use the special tables required for EAN diving, the depth limits for EAN diving, the effects of increased partial pressure of Oxygen and the benefits of EAN diving in terms of increased dive length and reduced decompression.

The course is offered as two dives, which will provide the participant with a PADI Speciality Accreditation but cannot be provided as an Adventure Dive or as part of the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.

All equipment is provided.

Age Range

Minimum age 12 years, parental approval is required for participants under 18 years old.
