PADI Drift Diver Speciality Course

Description

The PADI Drift Diver Speciality Course will enable the partipant to understand the techniques associated with Drift Diving. Drift Diving is using a local current to carry the diver along the sea bottom without the need to fin. It is usually done from a boat and boat diving experience is therefore helpful but not essential.

The course is offered as two dives, which will provide the participant with a PADI Speciality Accreditation or as one dive, offering a PADI Adventure Dive accreditation. The Adventure Dive can also be taken as one of the adventure dives in the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver / Junior Advanced Open Water Diver course.

 

All equipment is provided.

 

Age Range

Minimum age 12 years, parental approval is required for participants under 18 years old.

Great 50 min Club dive today, visibility was great 6-7meters on the right and greater on the left hand side of the bay. Sea temp a cool, yes cool not cold 12-13 degrees, well done to TERRY who lead the dive. Very distressing sight on the north coast. Please SHARE widely and keep an eye out for this seal and ring in any sightings to British Divers Marine Life Rescue on 01825 765546. This young entangled seal needs rescue to stand any chance of growing up! He needs all our help!
