PADI Rescue Diver

rescueDescription

This is for those divers who have completed their PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course and now want to enhance their skills, become more relient and have the ability to help others who may experience difficulties in the water. The PADI Rescue Diver course requires the participant to have a good knowledge of First Aid, which we provide with the Emergency First Response, Primary and Secondary Care course, and allows them to discover how to:

  • Become better able to manage their equipment
  • Improve dive preparation and planning
  • Improve awareness of risks and hazards when diving
  • Enable self rescue should the need arise
  • Search for and recover lost items
  • Rescue other divers from underwater and on the surface and return them to the shore for treatment.

All equipment is provided.

Age Range

The minimum age is 12.

Prerequisites

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or Junior Advanced Open Water Diver

Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care

Parental approval is required for participants under the age of 18.

Hi All it's Claire 😍Just wanted to say huge gratitude to David Skinner.He's supported me and a lot of us internally progressing our diving training, he's worked for clients out of hours and gone the extra mile every time. We are now looking forward to our own trip away and thank the amazing Darren Stella Endean for offering to hold the fort for us taking resident in the company bunk bed. Also like to thank our volunteers for the help you have given to the centre over the year and have a great couple weeks. We are diverting all WhatsApp, email, messenger, ring doorbell and phone to Darren who's offered to be on call 7am to 12 Midnight.
